Faern had started migrating all its systems to cloud-based solutions to enable business intelligence. The last key element was the introduction of Power BI. Marker did the design and implementation that enabled live insights about their operations.

Faern is a collection of stunning lifestyle resorts across the Swiss Alps. They are passionate about togetherness and nature. They share their passion through “the altitude living” experience provided at their 4 hotels.

Solution.
Marker implemented Power BI for Faern with the following key elements:
- developing the strategy for data modeling and data selection
- creating a semantic model that consolidates selected data from PMS, POS, and financial reporting system
- building a custom connector to enable the automatic data enrichment of the model.
Implementation.
Faern now possesses a single point of truth across systems. They can exploit all the potential of their data; getting better insights into hotel operations, and enhancing their decision-making process.
The reporting has been consolidated in an application, always available for the management of Faern, so that they can access insights at any time, from anywhere.
